Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you use TXT, we collect: (a) account information you provide, such as your display name, handle, profile details, and Apple ID identifier used for authentication; (b) content you create, including posts, comments, likes, and messages; (c) technical data such as device type, operating system version, app version, and crash logs; and (d) usage data such as features accessed, interaction patterns, and session information. We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) provide, maintain, and improve the App; (b) authenticate your account and secure your data; (c) moderate content and enforce our Terms of Service; (d) detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; (e) communicate important service updates; and (f) generate anonymized, aggregate analytics to improve the App.

3. Third-Party Services

TXT uses the following third-party services to operate: Firebase Authentication (by Google) for account sign-in; Google Cloud Firestore for data storage; Google Cloud Functions for server-side processing; and Apple Sign In for identity verification. These services may process your data according to their own privacy policies. We do not share your data with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

4. Advertising & Tracking

TXT does not serve third-party advertisements, does not use behavioral advertising or tracking technologies, and does not build advertising profiles. Promoted content from verified partners may appear in the feed and shop sections, but this content is not personalized based on your behavior or data.

5. Data We Do Not Sell

TXT LLC does not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal data to third parties. We do not share personal data for any purpose other than operating the App as described in this policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law, necessary for fraud prevention, or needed to resolve disputes. Anonymized or aggregate data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely.

7. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account from the Settings screen within the App. Upon deletion, your profile, posts, comments, and associated data will be permanently removed or anonymized. Some content may persist in backups for a limited period before being purged.

8. Children's Privacy

TXT is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. 9. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure authentication through Apple Sign In, server-side access controls, and regular security monitoring. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: (a) access the personal data we hold about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate data; (c) request deletion of your data; (d) request a portable copy of your data; and (e) withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. 11. Changes to This Policy

TXT LLC may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will publish the revised policy within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
